I find myself in a new position that’s important but I feel useless, where I know I’m doing good things and at the same time feel like I’m doing nothing. Often it’s a daily challenge to not go home discouraged. Yet you’re so right, and when I look back at my life from this perspective I can totally see how my past experiences, the good and the not so good, have stretched me and grown me and taken me places I never would have imagined. It’s hard when you can’t see the tangible progress, hard to hope for greatness in the midst of the seemingly mundane. But I’m trusting it’s happening, slowly but surely, because it sure has happened before. So thanks for the reminder to remember. 🙂
