I dove into my philosophy in life, which I cannot quite pinned point it in words yet that make sense. I have had a ton of bad luck when it comes to my life choices and career. I worked in the CNA world for 22 years now, and come to find out I cannot work the way that I want to. What I mean by that is Holistic Nursing. Everything in healthcare is ran by a tight ship and I do not like most of the rules and guidelines, as I am a natural born caring and loving person. Caregiving is my jam and I enjoy doing the things at home too, like cleaning, cooking and just taking care of my family. But I have struggled to be liked by anyone that I work with and I can't figure it out, I am not a mean person by any means. I am direct, honest and sometimes I do not have a filter. But I do not say or do things in a bad way. Currently I dread finding employment after being randomly let go everywhere I work. I live in Minnesota so that means they can let you go without reason and whatever reason they want. and to top it off I am constantly being denied unemployment. I feel worthless.

Great , great article. Appreciate you posting it. My small group at Church is working through a book , that required a question to be answered in the first session : What is your purpose in life ?
I'm completely grown up and did I never have a 'purpose' in my life ?
I quickly going about' finding ' my purpose . It certainly must not have been obvious to me as I competed my career and raised a great family.
Your article has helped and given me a good starting point on helping me formulate an answer for class !
But, you know what ? The photo at the beginning of your article looks like my 'purpose ' in life….in a picture.
I've been staring at it for several days…..
Is it a painting by someone ?
Instead of spiraling downward in life… this appears to be what I saw each day … even though I might not have been able to put it into words.

I really don’t know what I am passionate about anymore. This can be overwhelming as I approach 54 this month on Feb. 24th. This article resonates with me profoundly about looking at my past to shape my future because just today I was reflecting on my past childhood experiences to try to understand why I do what I do as an adult. Thank you for confirming the path from past to future to move me out of stagnant waters to rivers of living water into a land flowing with milk and honey!
